ONEPIECE Chapter 700: His own pace (referring to Luffy’s)
Caribou got curious and returned… only to find the soldiers looking for him. He hides from them.

As the world tumbles in chaos, several of Doflamingo’s clients tries to reach him.
One of his client is in middle of a civil war, and if they can’t get the weapons from Doflamingo, they will lose.
Bonny is wearing a coat that covers all her body (to hide?), reading all this in a newspaper.
Many others around the world read the news, wondering what Dofla is up to… and if there are more information about this.
Included are some random pirates, thugs on streets… and Jinbe.

Meanwhile in Captain Kid’s hideout in the New World..
Apooo (probably) yells out why their alliance is already revealed, and who the hell this news reporter Abusa is.
Apparently this news reporter is known for reporting multiple scoops in the recent times… (a contact in the underworld?)
Kid assumes Luffy & Law is also after a Yonkou, just like they are, and wonders who they are after!

Meanwhile in Dressrosa, the loli is sitting staring at countless den-den mushi ringing for the retired king.
Doflamingo is on the phone with Law. “It’s me. I quit Shichibukai”
Luffy jumps on the phone and yes “Hello! Hello! This is Monkey D Luffy, the man who will be the pirate king!”
He then tells him they’ll return Ceasar since it’s a promise, but if you’re Ceasar’s boss who did all those horrible things to the kids and Brownbeard, he’ll come kick his ass if he ever does it again. lol
Dofla ignores the threat, and asks where Luffy, the brother of Ace… has been for the past two years.
Luffy replies it’s a secret he’s not supposed to tell.
Dofla tells him he has something in his possession that Luffy wants.
Luffy assumes he has some delicious meat. Of course.
Law stops Luffy, warning him to not let him control the conversation at his pace.

Law tells Dofla to cut the chatter, and that he will return Caesar as promised.
Dofla first confirms his “business partner”‘s saftey by listening to Caesar’s voice.
Law tells him the exchange will be done eight hours from now, at the southern beach of Green Bit, located north of Dressrosa.
They will leave him there at 3PM, he can come recover him after that. There will be no contact.
Dofla says that’s a shame, he would have liked a drink or two with Law all grown up.. but Luffy cuts the phone.
Luffy says Dofla was about to control the conversation at his pace again, while his eyes are still meat-on-bones.

Sanji is worried Dofla will bring his whole crew, but Law says that doesn’t matter.
This whole returning Caesar business is really just to buy time.
The plan is to use this time to attack the SMILE factories on Dressrosa, but there is one problem… Law doesn’t know where the factory is.
That was one crucial information he could not obtain, the factory may be hidden somewhere.
Law claims he has never been to Dressrosa.

Luffy is already thinking about the adventures on Dressrosa, and wants to also go to Wano soon after.
Law warns him they need to make plans, they can’t just show up there, but Luffy is already not listening, he and the Strawhat crew are already on to talking about breakfast.
Law is sucked into the conversation, saying he’s not fond of bread…. only to catch himself getting sucked into Luffy’s “pace”. LOL

Kin can’t tell the crew WHY he was being chased, but originally he set out to find the place known as Zoe (Zou/Zoe)
Law is surprised to hear this, going there was his next objective after destroying the factory on SMILE. His crew are waiting there (Bepo “AIAI!”)
Kin wants to ask them if they can tag along but is hesitent from asking, but Luffy immediately says they’ll go along all the way to Wano.
Law: Hey! Wait, hold on there!

Three samurai and Momo.. the four of them were sailing for Zoe, but got lost on the sea.
Two samurai (including Kin) and Momo made it to Dressrosa. But they were chased by Doflamingo and Momo ended up sneaking onto a ship full of ill children.
The other samurai Kanjuro sacrificed himself to allow Kin to chase the ship, and is held at Dressrosa still.
Luffy & co are moved by the tale, and swears to go rescue Kanjuro, while Law desperately tries to convince them to stay on the plan.

Meanwhile, at New World Marine HQ…
Commodore Brannew is explaining the importance of Shichibukai to board full of marine officials,
The current seven were…
“Hawkeye” Mihawk – the world’s greatest swordsman
“Ten-yasha (Heavenly Devil)” Donquioxte Doflamingo – King of Dressrosa and Charisma of evil
“The Tyrant” Bertholomew Kuma – The Human weapon of the marines
“Pirate Empress” Boa Hancock – Current Empress of Amazon Lily
“Surgeon of Death” Trafalga Law – The mastermind behind the Rocky Port incident
“Clown of thousand coins” Buggy – the leader of the Pirate Ditachment Organiztion and a living legend
Plus the aforementioned man… making it seven. (Looks like Brannew was talking about the mysterious seventh shichibukai before we were cut to thsi scene)

But that all changed this morning as Dofla suddenly quit the Shichibukai.
This will cause an unbalance in the world order! Sakazuki tells Brannew he is aware of all this.
He won’t let Law or the Straw Hats have their way. He got the report from Smoker in G-5, and already dispatched Fujitora.

Meanwhile in Dressrosa..
The crowd outside the palace are begging for their king to not abandon his throne
Baby 5 is looking for master Trevor, and asks the loli where he is. She doesn’t know.
The old man and woman of Dofla’s crew are wondering what the master is planning to do, while the fat man is flexing saying he’ll take on any marines that come.
Trevor finds Baby 5, and approaches her. Trevor is a slimy, ugly man. He is both slimy in appearance and attitude, which Baby 5 cannot stand. She tells him Dofla is calling for him, to bring him “the goods”. (revealed at later…)
Trevor jokes about Baby 5 picking the wrong men, and she should marry him instead
To which Baby 5 goes into her usual “he needs me!” behavior, which the geezer duo puts a stop to.

Dofla is talking to a man named Diamante, the “hero” of the colosseum.
He commends his work at making the colosseum a success. Diamante tells Dofla the credit is all yours, as a charismatic king.
But Dofla insists Diamante is the hero of the colosseum, and the credit is his.
Dofla almost takes back what he said after Diamante replies again he isn’t worth, but Diamante stops him in his tract “Well in THAT case, I shall admit. I AM the hero of the colosseum!!”

While the two are having this rediculous conversation, the slime-man Trevor appears to bring him “the goods”.A small treasure chest.
Dofla says if the Straw Hat finds out about this, he will do everything in his power to obtain it.
His “alliance” will be nothing but a shackle to him.
Dofla entrusts “it” to Diamante, to which Diamante refuses saying he is not worthy.
Dofla insiists. Diamante insists. Dofla almost gives up, when Diamante cuts him short “OK I ADMIT I’M A GENIUS!”

What’s inside the treasure chest is Ace’s Mera-mera fruit.
Dofla laughs, the Straw Hat wouldn’t want anyone else having this fruit, now would he? Fuffuffu!

Meanwhile, the Straw Hats arrive at Dressrosa – the island of Love and Passion.
The island is surrounded by massive boulders,
“We’re here! Dressrosa!”

Based from the stats show above here on my blog, I have been getting a lot of visits and views. Most of them are from gamers and players of Ragnarok Online II: Legend of the Second and The War Z. In the last 3 weeks after I created this blog, I been receiving a lot visitors and there’s no way that I can thank all of you for that. I want to thank all of you who have been very supportive and appreciative to the things that I have posted here and rest assured that I will continue all my efforts to help each and everyone of you by adding some tips, tricks and guides to the games that I play and introducing other stuffs that might help the community not only of gamers but also bloggers here and there.

It has been a pleasure for me to know that there are people who have found my blog helpful in one way or another. Yesterday, I was able to get 100+ views and 90+ visitors. So for now, that’s my target benchmark and I assure you that I will continue working on other guides, reviews, previews here and improve my writing skills. By the way, I added some items on the sidebar that you might find helpful. Thanks again!

amdI was checking for tips and guides to optimize my gaming experience in my desktop and it just popped out from my mind to check for the latest driver for my ATI Radeon 4650 Video Card (yeah I know its quite old hehe) and surprisingly, AMD just released an updated driver form my graphics card. They released the update last January 21, 2013 and stated that they have fixed application specific issues and critical updates for the card. I hope it will greatly help in improving The War Z and Ragnarok Online 2 graphic rendering as well as its speed. I’ve been having lag spikes and low fps while playing this games. I don’t know if its my CPU or my video card. I’ll probably update my system later once I get home to know if it will help. 😀

AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver

AMD Catalyst™ Driver for AMD Radeon™ HD 4000, HD 3000 and HD 2000 Series
AMD has moved to the AMD Radeon™ HD 4000, AMD Radeon HD 3000, and AMD Radeon HD 2000 Series new driver support model.  These updates will focus on resolving application specific issues and critical updates. The reason for the shift in support policy is largely due to the fact that the AMD Radeon HD 4000, AMD Radeon HD 3000, and AMD Radeon HD 2000 Series have been optimized to their maximum potential from a performance and feature perspective.

For those who are asking for my build (especially my guild mates), this is the skill build that I use for my assassin. So far, I’m doing good in 1 on 1 PVP but average in Colosseum. This build utilizes all the basic skills of an Assassin like Shadow Explosion, Shadow Fang which is your main offensive skills and the prerequisite skills needed like Shadow Form, Combo Training and Shadow Fiend. My build focuses on combos and criticals to deal max damage to PVE and PVP which is why Shadow Cloak and Genocide Mark is Max at 5. The downside of this build is the decrease in mobility as an assassin because I didn’t add hiding exceed. AOE is not really an option when it comes to Assassins so don’t add points to Shadow Fang and Meteor Assault. Cross Impact and Grimtooth(though you can gain combo points while using it) are worthless skills but is required for other skills so just put 1 point to each skill. Double Attack and Deadly Blow is still your bread and butter when it comes to PVE. Shadow Assault is good for both PVE and PVP because it lets you leap towards your enemy and it also includes fall damage(stun) for 3 seconds.

STR 41 (gives Damage and Block)
AGI 41 (increates Crit and Evasion)

As for my stats, I focused on STR and AGI, all else are set to 1. Vit doesn’t give you much so I only depend on gears for my Vit and HP. With this build, I can get around 40% critical rate using Archer’s Agi buff, Genocide Mark, Shadow Cloak, Level 40 PAtk, Matk, Crit Food, Level 50 Agi buff potion + Level 50 Agi boost potion. With that rate, I can crit 8/10 from my attacks which is considered as a full crit assassin although if not using an agi boost potion, my crit rate drops to 36% which is still not bad considering that no other class can reach that :D. As for my damage, it’s enough to do DPS on bosses and sometimes tank until our our knight is revived with the help of shadow armor and heal of priests.

  • Genocide Mark gives 2% crit rate at level 5, not 0.2% so if your crit is 20%, you’ll have 22% when you use the buff.
  • Shadow Armor gives 50% damage reduction to all types of attacks so If the boss hits you with the normal damage of 1000, while your using this buff it reduces the damage to half and you’ll receive 500.
  • Shadow Form gives you 30% attack damage and 30% moving speed, not 30% attack and moving speed.
  • Pros: Average build, High damage to crit ratio, High survivability due to Shadow Armor, balance on PVE and PVP
  • Cons: Less mobility, Vit and HP depends on gears, 1 on 1 fighting

If you are planning to create an assassin, make sure that it fits the type of player you are. If you are a soloist like me then its the best class out there aside from beast master, wizards and rangers. Moreover, don’t expect that it’s still the same with RO1 that has high dodge rate, survivability and ridiculous attack speed because gravity really nerfed assassins to the fullest. If you’re a party lover, I suggest you don’t create an assassin. You’ll have a hard time joining one because no one wants you, only your buff unless you have friends or guild mates 😀 By the way, you will always look like a werewolf due to shadow form but you’ll get over it soon hehe. This is not the perfect build for assassins but it works best for me. In the end, you can try out different builds and use the ones that suits you and your style.

Sony unveils Playstation 4! Nice, though I’m not fond of playing console games. 😀

Nice guide, will definitely try this out. 😀

In my first review, I mentioned that I have not delved far into the game to make any positive or negative statements about the music in RO2. Well I posted that review a few minutes before I entered Prontera and was really disappointed with the lack of care put into the selection of appropriate music. So I tried to check if I can fool the game system into playing the “Prontera Theme” from the original and it turned out to be a simple endeavor.

First, you open the BGM folder in RO2 by following this path:

Playpark Path

Well, if you don’t find your RO2 folder using this default path, then it’s because you specified that RO2 should be put on another location during the installation.

Under the BGM folder, you would see that the music files were named according to the locations they are played. Here’s an example:

WarZ Journal: Day 1

I played War Z yesterday after hours of playing RO2. I was kind of bored because I don’t have anything to do after I finish doing the daily quests and the Colosseum so I decided to check WarZ again. At first it was quite the usual feeling when I was playing it during the alpha and beta phase. The suspense and thrill of being killed was there and the eeriness of the game environment was still there. However, even at first glance I noticed that the graphics drastically changed. The lighting was good, the animations are far better now, the houses are now open and can be looted and there’s alot of new features.

I immediately logged in to Teamspeak hoping that I could play Co-op with some of my new clanmates (yeah, I joined a new clan). Good thing there was an admin to change my status to member so that I can access other channels aside from the lobby. There were some people who are playing and I asked them if we could play together. Good thing there was one who is willing to join me so we decided to meet inside US Server 60. There were 14 players when I joined the game, probably the lowest number I’ve seen so far from the server list. I created a new character just to have the feel again. I spawned at the north part of the map near Crystal Lake Resort. I was surprised to see that the landscape really changed and I managed to be familiarized again with the place even it was night time.

I checked my map and look for other possible places where i can get good loots and the closest one is the resort. I decided to go on and checked the surrounding areas for loot. I killed nearly 10 zombies to clear my path and to loot the whole place and I didn’t even get any weapons though there are time capsules, new food etc. I asked my buddy where to meet up and he said he’ll just use his other character near Goblin’s peak (safezone at the eastern part of the map) which is just a 15 minutes walk from where I am located. I continued moving on to the next place which is a small gas station and again, no weapons whatsoever. I managed to meet up with my newly found friend safely without being attacked by other players.  I noticed that there is a pointer now above the player when you are in a group which I must say is a good addition to the game. It really helps alot especially when you are grouping up with other people.

We decided to loot the next place which is a small trailer park used by the survivors at the early days of the apocalypse. Again we found nothing but food and little cash from zombies. We cleared the area and moved on to the next. My buddy and I decided to go at the other side of the lake going to the helicopter crash. We first cleared the lakehouse and then moved to the barn near it. Good thing we decided to check it out because I found a machete which I immediately use to kill the zombie running towards me. It was a 2 shot kill though I was damaged by that rotting monster. We were about to go to the helicopter crash but my internet connection acted up and I got disconnected from the game! Because Its very late and I have work the next day, I decided to bid goodbye to my clanmates and asked them if we can play again some other time. It was a good first day in WarZ. 😀
